The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) market in Bangladesh is expected to witness double-digit growth during the forecast period. There are around six to seven multinational UPS suppliers in the country. Additionally, there are around 20 to 25 suppliers in the market. Low-cost imports from China and Taiwan and increasing raw material prices are likely to be the biggest challenges faced by manufacturers. Competition is especially severe in the Up to 1.0 kVA power range due to the low entry barrier for new suppliers. The higher power range segments—more than 50.0 kVA—are dominated by multinational participants with few Bangladeshi suppliers.
