The growing need for people to travel, bank, shop, communicate, and work anytime, anywhere opens up considerable growth opportunities. Several new technologies in the AIDC industry are gaining traction across applications in the healthcare, automotive, and banking sectors. Further, an increasing number of things will connect to the Web, including cars, buildings, homes, animals, clothing, appliances, food, drugs, and jewellery. This study analyzes the various identity solutions used in these regulated industries, and their growth prospects, in the context of the emerging socioeconomic, environmental, and regulatory environment. Emerging applications are identified, and their impact on future AIDC technology adoption levels is gauged.
