In this report, the Indian utility meters market has been analyzed by dividing it into three separate segments: Electricity Meters, Gas Meters, Water Meters. In the Indian context, each of these markets has distinct market dynamics with all the major market parameters being different. Probably, the only common element is that the main customers in all the three segments are the utility service providers that are almost completely state-owned. Therefore, one can conclude that the meter companies of the respective segments are dealing with the State Governments.
