This research service tracks infrastructure development in Angola. The research service forms part of the infrastructure tracker studies across the African continent. Angola's infrastructure has endured years of neglect and destruction and is in urgent need of refurbishment. The civil war between 1975 and 2002 had a severe impact on the overall quality of the country's infrastructure. The study establishes some of the infrastructure backlogs in the country, as well as some of the initiatives being undertaken to address these infrastructure backlogs. The research service also provides analysis of the current sources of funding in the country and the expected future trends of infrastructure development in Angola.
