The advanced wound care market in South Africa is in the early growth phase and has the potential to penetrate the traditional wound market to a large extent in the long-term forecast period of this study, especially since Government is starting to adopt the existing advanced wound care technology to a much larger extent than previously. Penetration and expansion can be achieved by long-term cost-benefit and awareness/education strategies by market participants.
