Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common mental health disorders in childhood and adolescents, and affects an estimated 4.1 percent of adults, ages 18 to 44, in a given year. The adult ADHD market, however, is significantly less penetrated than the pediatric market and has strong potential for growth in the near-term. Once-daily stimulants remain the gold standard for ADHD due to positive efficacy and safety profiles, however, there is increased competition in this space due to the entry of generics.
