The Frost Radar™ on industrial robotics identifies and plots key robotics vendors across two parameters: Innovation and Growth. Frost & Sullivan estimates close to 3.3 million robots are in use globally. Although the COVID-19 pandemic led to a decline in industrial robot installations in 2020, this market bounced back in 2021, with more than 515,000 robots deployed that year. Growth was profound in key industries such as automotive and electronics. In 2022, the number of robots installed grew to 570,000.

In a field of more than 300 global industry participants, Frost & Sullivan independently plotted the 15 major companies in this Frost Radar™. The companies identified for deeper analysis were chosen for their leadership and innovation capabilities, new product launches, or other distinctions and then benchmarked across 10 Growth and Innovation criteria to reveal their position on the Frost Radar™. The analysis presents competitive profiles of these companies and offers a brief commentary on focus areas they can use to maximize their opportunities.
