Description

The APAC network security market saw a 11.4% growth in Q4 2019. The market is being driven mostly by the firewall segment which grew 14.0%. Top-three revenue contributors remain education, government, and BFSI sectors, with a combined contribution of 63.3% of market share. Healthcare, government, and manufacturing were the top growing verticals in Q4 2019, registering strong double-digit YoY growth.

The biggest push for enterprises to adopt network security solutions will undoubtedly come from the heightened threat they face from criminal entities and state-sponsored actors. The near ubiquitous use of the Internet amongst organizations to run their respective operations leaves no one safe from network-based attacks. Network security continues to be a core and fundamental part of an enterprise’s security preparation.
