This Frost Radar™ examines the Australian customer experience (CX) management services landscape, which is a subset of the broader business process outsourcing/management industry. In a CX management arrangement, a company contracts an outside supplier to run customer service work instead of doing it in-house. The work ranges from handling simple calls to complex processes, such as technical support and customer self-service, to interactive voice response applications or the web. Frost & Sullivan benchmarked 15 leading providers serving Australian clients, whether they deliver from onshore, nearshore, or offshore centers. Australia is a mature market; revenue is holding steady as the mix of work shifts. Automation is absorbing routine contacts, and providers are earning more from the complex, regulated interactions that still need people. Buyers are also harder to win, and regulation now shapes most deals before price does. APRA’s CPS 230, Consumer Data Right residency rules, and new privacy disclosure rules for automated decisions (in force from December 2026) all affect who can bid. This study shows CX leaders which providers are adapting fastest and gives providers a clear benchmark against competitors. The Growth Index measures a company’s growth performance and track record, along with its ability to develop and execute a fully aligned growth strategy and vision, a robust growth pipeline system, and effective market-, competitor-, and end user-focused sales and marketing strategies. The Innovation Index measures a company’s ability to develop products, services, and solutions that reflect a clear understanding of globally applicable disruptive megatrends, can evolve and expand to serve multiple markets, and align with customers’ changing needs.

Frost & Sullivan analyzes numerous companies in an industry. Those selected for further analysis, based on their leadership or other distinctions, are benchmarked against 10 Growth and Innovation criteria to reveal their position on the Frost Radar™. The publication presents a competitive profile of each company on the Frost Radar™, considering its strengths and the opportunities that best fit those strengths.
