Globally, the mobile communications industry remains a cornerstone of economic development, social connectivity, and digital inclusion; however, in a developing economy such as Latin America (LATAM), the industry is especially important as it drives innovation in and expands access to an essential service, that is, communications.

This study provides a detailed subscription and revenue forecast for Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico to offer a comprehensive picture of the mobile communications industry in LATAM. It does not include subscriber and revenue numbers for the Rest of LATAM, which is considered only for the overall regional analysis.

The industry is segmented as follows: prepaid and postpaid services, business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) segments, and device preferences (including mobile phones and IoT devices). The study also identifies the major industry participants and indicates their country shares.
