Frost & Sullivan conducted a web-based survey of 152 U.S. Ophthalmologists in November 2009. Of these respondents, 48 percent are in single-specialty group practice, 38 percent are in solo practice, and the rest are in multi-specialty group practice or in hospital-based clinics.
