The broadcast video content marketplace in MENA is undergoing a transition in delivery technologies and platforms lately. With revenues from advertisements almost stagnant from free to air channels, broadcasters and content producers are adopting Pay TV platform for content monetization. Though Middle East and North Africa are considered as a single region, the content preferences vary across countries based on the political scenario, socio-economic environment, purchasing power, and demography.
