Description

In H1 2023, the APAC network firewall market saw a comparatively slower YoY growth of 8.2% as compared to H1 2022 that registered an estimated YoY growth of 14.0%. The market witnessed a slow growth following the difficult macroeconomic situation that engulfed many countries in APAC, leading to a more reserved approach when it comes to cybersecurity investments. This has resulted in organizations to shift their focus towards consolidating their security stack into a single unified platform that allows better visibility and management of security tools, ensuring a consistent security strategy.

The appliance segment remains to be the larger form factor as compared to the virtual segment in H1 2023. However, the appliance segment saw a slower YoY growth of 6.9% in H1 2023 as compared to the virtual segment that recorded a double-digit YoY growth of 20.5%.
Consolidation trend is expected to drive go-to-market strategies and expansion efforts among the network firewall market participants in the APAC network firewall market.
