The Asia-Pacific network security market recorded a YoY growth of 15.7% in Q3 2019, which was slightly slower as compared to Q3 2018 (at 17.3% YoY). In Q3 2019, China continued to experience strong YoY growth and lead the market in terms of market share. Both China and Japan remained key countries in terms of revenue contribution. Looking at the regional performance, Greater China and ANZ were the fastest growing regions in Q3 2019.

In terms of vertical analysis, the government sector out performed the service provider sector as the largest revenue contributor in Q3 2019. With that, the top three revenue contributors were government, service provider, and BFSI sector, with a combined contribution of more than 60.0% of market share. The small and medium-sized business segment grew at a faster pace than large business segment with a YoY growth of 16.2%.
