With the average car age hovering near nine years, the replacement market keeps things moving along nicely.
Tough EU rules on the environment and sustainability have pushed improvements in lead-acid designs, making recyclable versions like AGM and EFB more attractive for cutting emissions in micro-hybrid setups.
Even as full electric vehicles and lithium-ion batteries gain ground in new sales, the lead-acid side is holding up well.
