Description

Telehealth is central to the healthcare delivery transformation by way of the converging healthcare and information communication technology (ICT) sectors. This study analyzes survey data taken at the 2014 ATA annual conference, collecting opinions from on the state of the market from approximately 80 industry stakeholders including technology vendors, healthcare providers, and industry consultants. The surveyed markets include remote patient monitoring, personal emergency response systems (PERS), video telemedicine, tele-mental health, mHealth applications, tele-imaging, kiosks, medication management systems, tele-pharmacy, tele-emergency, and remote cardiac services. Scope includes telehealth products and services, including perspectives on current and future trends, and findings are discussed within the context of Frost & Sullivan’s views regarding the telehealth industry in North America.
