Frost & Sullivan's annual survey, now in its fourth year, offers critical insights into the perceptions and behaviors of IT and business decision-makers as they navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of cloud technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Since 2020, Frost & Sullivan has conducted an annual survey targeting IT and business decision-makers to gauge their perceptions, decisions, and purchasing behaviors. The 2024 survey includes a set of IoT-specific questions that allow for comparisons of responses over time. The primary goal of the survey is to understand the evolving organizational priorities of respondents and how cloud-related technologies assist them in achieving their business objectives. The results of the survey shed light on the decision-making processes in enterprises, highlighting the following:
• The decision-makers that drive the adoption of digital solutions
• The ways in which enterprises prioritize challenges and set their objectives
• The benefits experienced across different regions and industries
• The infrastructure options that enterprises are currently using and those they plan to implement
• The key IoT applications being utilized across verticals
• A ranking of spending on various components
• Expectations for future growth
