Description

Apple has continued to flourish in with smartphones, tablets, mac computers and a multitude of accessories in a very competitive environment. Much of the company's success can be attributed to its ongoing development of products, and their focus on the overall user experience. While many of Apple's competitors have looked at a more open ecosystem and development of their own application storefronts, Apple has created a full ecosystem for its users with the App Store at the center of its success. With the release of the iPhone X and the iPhone 8/8+ at the end of 2017, Apple continued its success with another strong quarter to end calendar year 2017 with a spike in sales. To coincide with iPhone sales, Apple also saw increases in iPad, Mac computers, and other products and services - both units sold and overall revenue. This Frost & Sullivan tracker provides metrics on Apple's quarterly performance (for both unit sales and revenues) for iPads, iPhones, Macs, and other products (which includes sales of iPods, Apple TVs, Beats Electronics, and Apple-branded and third-party accessories). The deliverable includes historical quarterly data for all these categories from 2007 to Q4 2017 and annual year-over-year (YoY) growth rates to capture important trends in the Apple ecosystem.
