Description

Cosmetic surgeries are often associated with long hospitalization, higher postoperative risk, longer postoperative downtime, and greater costs than minimally invasive methods. In addition, invasive surgical procedures are associated with postoperative mental wellness concerns. Several studies have reported that patients undergoing abdominoplasty, facelift, and other facial cosmetic surgeries were at risk of postoperative depressive reactions and anxiety. In contrast, patients undergoing minimally invasive aesthetic procedures have relatively lower or no treatment risks and have little to negligible post-procedure downtime. In addition, studies have shown improved neuropsychiatric and social health after minimally invasive and noninvasive procedures. Therefore, there is a rising demand for targeted, minimally invasive, and noninvasive aesthetic treatments or ‘tweakments’ that help improve skin health and bolster overall patient confidence.

This report explores new growth opportunities and technology developments across minimally invasive and noninvasive aesthetic practices. Key segments include skin resurfacing, skin tightening, lipolysis, microcurrent, microinjection, and acoustic technologies. It explores the impact of enabling technologies, mainly robotics and AI, on minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.

The study answers the following questions:

•     How do industry growth drivers and restraints impact the minimally invasive aesthetic space?
•     What are the emerging technologies and innovations across minimally invasive and noninvasive aesthetic practices?
•     Who are the leading patent applicants in this industry?
•     What are the industry dynamics from funding and partnership perspectives?
•     What are the key growth opportunities in this sector?
