Historically, India has been an export oriented market with Indian companies looking outward for growth opportunities. This has changed in the last few years, more and more Indian companies as well as multinationals are basing their business plans on India demand. India is no longer perceived to be a low cost service provider, with GDP and hence per capita disposable income on a rise, it is considered to be an explosive demand center. With the Government impetus on Make in India, the manufacturing sector is likely to grow faster than the Service sector in the coming years.
